Goal: To prepare a 7-10 minute presentation on a famous composer using PowerPoint slides to outline your talking points. Use the slides to aid you in your presentation, do not just read the slides. Remember a sound example is included in this time, which should not make it difficult to have 7-10 minutes.
Group Size: 2 students per composer with 10 total slides
Steps:
1. Choose a composer from the list available. Each group must choose a different composer on a first come first serve basis.
2. After choosing a composer, complete the research sheet
(this will help you gather the information you will need to complete your assignment)
3. You may use books or websites. You must finish the outline and show it to Mr. Ellerston before you starting your PowerPoint.
4. Follow the guidelines on the research sheet to organize your PowerPoint slides.
5. Share PowerPoint with Mr. Ellerston. (chris.ellerston@rocketsk12.org)
Grading:
Groups will be graded on the content of their presentations, the manner in which the information is presented and the completion of the research sheet. Remember, content is the most important part of the project, not the design of the presentation. Share your PowerPoint work with your group so you can help each other make the best presentation possible. Also, share it with Mr. Ellerston.
